Von 2000 bis 2008 war Jean Ziegler UN-Sonderberichterstatter für das ”Recht auf Nahrung”. In diesem Gespräch wird die Resilienz afrikanischer Kulturen gegen die kapitalistische Gleichschaltung ausgelotet. Jean Ziegler, politician, political scientist and well-known non-fiction author has long been regarded as Switzerland’s ”enfant terrible”. From 2000 to 2008, Jean Ziegler was UN Special Rapporteur on the ”Right to Food”. In this conversation, the resilience of African cultures against capitalist conformity is explored. We are republishing the second part of our interview with Jean Ziegler (you can find the first part in the backlist) to mark the occasion of his passing.

De 2000 à 2008, Jean Ziegler a été rapporteur spécial des Nations unies pour le « droit à l’alimentation ». Cet entretien explore la résilience des cultures africaines face à l’uniformisation capitaliste.
