Christian Abdul Hady Hoffmann was an active member of the CDU from 1974 to 1995 and, from 1997, worked as a consultant in PR and communications, including for the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Romania and Siberia.
