🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher war Psychologin und Pädagogin. Sie prägte den Begriff der "Dominanzkultur". Damit beschrieb die Frauenforscherin Diskriminierungen von Minderheiten. Rommelspacher erläutert dies am Beispiel des islamischen Kopftuchs (s. Kopftuchstreit). Teile der Frauenbewegung propagieren bis heute Frauenemanzipation nur im Rahmen westlicher Kultur. Rommelspacher stellt fest, dass Dominanzkultur rechtsradikale und rassistische Frauenbilder begründet.
/🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher was a psychologist and educator. She coined the term ‘dominance culture’. The women's researcher used this term to describe discrimination against minorities. Rommelspacher explains this using the example of the Islamic headscarf. To this day, parts of the women's movement propagate women's emancipation only within the framework of Western culture. Rommelspacher states that the culture of dominance is the basis for right-wing extremist and racist images of women.
