🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Fuad Rifka (1930-2011). Was bedeutet Gedichte zu schreiben in unserer Zeit? In einer Zeit, in der in vielen arabischen Ländern Despotie und Krieg herrscht. Fuad Rifka war der bedeutenste Übersetzer deutscher Lyrik ins Arabische. Er wurde 1930 im syrischen Kafroun geboren. Fuad Rifka gehört neben Adonis und Mahmoud Darwish zu den Erneuerern der arabischen Lyrik.
/ Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Fuad Rifka (1930-2011). What does it mean to write poetry in our time? At a time when despotism and war reign in many Arab countries. Fuad Rifka was the most important translator of German poetry into Arabic. He was born in 1930 in Kafroun, Syria. Alongside Adonis and Mahmoud Darwish, Fuad Rifka is one of the innovators of Arabic poetry.
