/đ Nadja Luer (Berlin journalist) in conversation with Anna-Lena von Hodenberg (founder of HateAid). In the conversation, Anna-Lena von Hodenberg describes the work of Hate Aid. One focus is on journalism on the internet. Anna-Lena von Hodenberg describes the consequences of racist hate and incitement on the internet, particularly for this professional group, but also how each individual affected can defend themselves with the support of HateAid. The HateAid organization is currently affected itself. Here is part of the press release:
"Shortly before Christmas Eve, the US State Department announced the imposition of entry bans on five individuals. In addition to the managing directors of HateAid, those affected include former EU Commissioner Thierry Breton, CCDH CEO Imran Ahmed and Global Disinformation Index CEO Clare Melford. They have been classified as âradical activistsâ and âweaponized organizations.â They and potentially their family members are therefore not permitted to enter the US. Shortly beforehand, a valid ESTA visa held by Josephine Ballon was revoked by email."
