🎓 Christoph Burgmer () im Gespräch mit Mahasweta Devi (1926-2016). Ein Besuch in Kolkata bei der indischen Schriftstellerin und Aktivistin Mahasweta Devi. Devi verfasste zahllose Romane, Erzählungen und Kurzgeschichten, alle in begalischer Sprache. Devi gilt bis heute als bedeutenste bengalische Schriftstellerin. Daneben war die 1926 in Dhaka geborene Mahasweta Devi eine indienweit bekannte Aktivistin für die Rechte der Adivasi, der indischen Ureinwohner und der Angehörigen der so genannten "non registered tribes." Das Gespräch wurde 2012 aufgezeichnet.
/🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Mahasweta Devi (1926-2016). A visit to the Indian writer and activist Mahasweta Devi in Kolkata. Devi wrote countless novels, short stories and short stories, all in Begali. Devi is still regarded as the most important Bengali writer. Born in Dhaka in 1926, Mahasweta Devi was also a well-known activist in India for the rights of the Adivasi, India's indigenous people and members of the so-called ‘non-registered tribes’. /🎓 মহাশ্বেতা দেবীর সাথে কথোপকথনে ক্রিস্টোফ বার্গার (১৯২৬-২০১৬)। ভারতীয় লেখিকা ও সমাজকর্মী মহাশ্বেতা দেবীর সঙ্গে কলকাতা ভ্রমণ। দেবী অসংখ্য উপন্যাস, গল্প এবং ছোট গল্প লিখেছেন, সবই বেগালি ভাষায়। ইউরোপীয় ভাষায় অনুবাদগুলি কেবল 2000 এর দশকের গোড়ার দিকে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে (জার্মান ভাষায় প্রকাশনাগুলি দ্রাউপতি ভার্লাগ হাইডেলবার্গ)। দেবীকে আজও সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বাঙালি লেখক হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। উপরন্তু, ১৯২৬ সালে ঢাকায় জন্মগ্রহণকারী মহাশ্বেতা দেবী আদিবাসী, ভারতীয় অধিবাসী এবং তথাকথিত "অ-নিবন্ধিত উপজাতি" সদস্যদের অধিকারের জন্য সারা ভারত জুড়ে সুপরিচিত কর্মী ছিলেন। কথোপকথনটি ২০১২ সালে রেকর্ড করা হয়েছিল।
