Audio Archive Podcast â Go against the Grain is a long-term journalistic project and digital archive for conversations, interviews, reports, and essays on politics, society, and culture. Two to four new podcast episodes are released each month.Â

/đ Stefan Fuchs (science journalist) in conversation with Richard Sennett. The British-American sociologist Richard Sennett (born 1943) taught at New York University and at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His publications focus on modern work organisation, the isolation of individuals and power structures. In the âculture of new capitalismâ since the mid-1990s, the political public is a powerless mass at the mercy of the decisions of the political elites in representative democracies.
