Sie setzt sich insbesondere für die Rechte für Frauen und Kinder ein und lebt seit einigen Jahre in Großbritannien im Exil. In dem Gespräch berichtet die Menschenrechtsaktivistin von Geschichte und Gegenwart der iranischen Frauenbewegung. Im Zentrum steht der Widerstand der iranischen Frauen gegen das Regime in Teheran.

She is particularly committed to the rights of women and children and has been living in exile in the UK for several years. In the interview, the human rights activist talks about the past and present of the Iranian women's movement. The focus is on the resistance of Iranian women against the regime in Tehran.

کریستوف بورگمر با شیرین عبادی صحبت می کند. این وکیل و اولین قاضی زن در ایران که در سال ۱۳۲۶ متولد شد، در سال ۱۳۸۲ جایزه صلح نوبل را دریافت کرد. او که به ویژه متعهد به دفاع از حقوق زنان و کودکان است، چندین سال است که در بریتانیا در تبعید زندگی می کند. این فعال حقوق بشر در این مصاحبه از گذشته و حال جنبش زنان ایران سخن می گوید. تمرکز بر مقاومت زنان ایرانی در برابر رژیم تهران است.
