From 2014-2020 she was UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She is co-founder of Indigenous Peoples Rights International. In this interview, conducted at the World Social Forum in Mumbai, India in 2004, Victoria Tauli-Corpuz explains the need for indigenous resistance and the interconnectedness of indigenous cultures and climate change.
